Vivek wrote 1 Datafile ( as: one datafile, a datafile, only one datafile)
He didn't write Datafile 1 (as: the first datafile)

He also wrote it was added after the last HOT backup. Datafile 1 is usually there since database creation, and not added afterwards.

It was a Case of 1 Datafile NOT being in sync with the rest of Database.
This had been added after the Last HOT backup(being used in recovery).
